Technical Analyst/Investment Markets (West Los Angeles)

Experienced Technical Analyst who knows how to incorporate fundamental analysis with technical analysis. This analyst will assist in producing advisory services for our clients who are active traders. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of active trading experience (either professional or personal), have extensive experience using both technical and fundamental analysis in their trading strategies, and have excellent writing skills. Shall be proficient in MS Excel.

The candidate should have experience with one or more charting programs using technical indicators, not just basics. Analyst will work with trading ideas from the CIO and also contribute his own ideas. The primary input for investment choices shall be technical, but fundamentals should confirm the technical. The investment vehicles will be stocks and ETF's, and recommendations will be long or short.

The analyst will communicate trading set-ups in concise, well-written comments that will be published to our client services.
The work will be part time, contract. Once competency is proven, hours can increase per mutual agreement.
