Nannyreviews.com, a recently launched site, allows parents to speak freely in an open-discussion forum, browse informative articles and use helpful resource tools in finding the right childcare provider in their area.

We are searching for a full-time writer and editor to help execute the website's vision from early on, contribute to editorial content, manage freelance writers and bloggers, moderate the forum, and execute social media on a daily basis.

This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about writing, parenting, childcare, and wants to build something from the ground up towards success.

Daily responsibilities include:

? Writing 1-2 articles daily (350-500 words)
? Moderating and contributing to the forum discussion
? Moderating comments
? Managing freelance contributions: reviewing content, editing, copy proofing, scheduling and meeting deadlines.
? Uploading articles and images to Wordpress site
? Posting social media content daily: Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest.
? Execute weekly content-driven email newsletter to subscribers

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

? At least 2 years experience as an editor
? Experience within the parenting marketplace, parent-driven writing samples
? Knowledge of SEO best practices, Google keywords and tools.
? Knowledge of AP style writing
? Copy proofing/Line editing experience
? Intermediate Knowledge of Wordpress
? Experience with generating, scheduling and executing Email Newsletters
? Knowledge of scheduling platforms such as Mail chimp, Constant Contact, etc. a plus.
? Must be Mac proficient, experience with outlook, excel.
? Photoshop experience a plus
? Must be able to wear many hats and multi-task in a faced paced environment.
? Must be comfortable working (and writing) in a start-up environment, full-time office hours, M-F.
