Position Overview:
Shipping
Determines which size truck is needed & method to load
Maintains inventory of packaging supplies, including all packaging materials,
Maintains shipping records and logs
Maintain all shipping Make bill of lading for each shipment
Package & or pallatize

Receiving
Ensure product is inspected and counted prior to accepting product
Check in all packages coming into the receiving area
Verify receiving paperwork against actual quantity shipped

Qualifications
Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
Problem solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
Physical - Able to lift 50 lbs on regular basis
Know how to operate a forklift
Need to have a clean criminal Background (background checks will be done)
Need to have clean DMV record so you can move trucks around

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years of material handling and shipping experience.

We are fast growing e-commerce company based at South El Monte, California. We are hiring Shipping & Receiving Clerk to work in our new shipping facility. This is an entry-level position and no prior experience required. We will provide all the training.

Responsibilities:
With minimal supervision, primarily responsible for packaging and shipping of all shipments via Fedex or USPS. As Shipping/Warehouse Clerk you will be responsible for the following activities:

· Select items to be shipped
· Pack boxes using protective packaging as necessary
· Prepare necessary shipping documents & inventory count
· Track shipments and contact recipients as necessary
· Maintain and clean warehouse
· Other related duties as assigned
