Experienced Server/Hostess/kitchen assistant needed for intimate luxurious fishing lodge. This is a small, family owned and operated business that caters exclusively to 12-14 guests on a weekly basis, from mid-May to mid-September.
We are looking for a person who works well with others, is out-going and enthusiastic, flexible, who has experienced excellent service and hospitality skills. You must be a people-person, a self motivator, have a cheerful disposition and you must also be tolerant of close contact with other people.
Our season is short and intense and making it enjoyable and successful depends on each person pulling their weight. During the season we operate at full capacity and this means working at full capacity. The lodge is our home and the guests are our company. You must exude customer service and attentive hospitality to our guests at all times, whether on or off duty.
We provide wake-up room service in the mornings, buffet style breakfasts, we prepare sandwiches and lunches to go, and serve 6-course plated dinners to 12-14 guests. Any barista, baking and wine knowledge is a plus. Our service revolves around fishing schedules and mornings can start very early, so you must be a morning person; dinner service begins around 6 pm through 9 pm. The ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure is important. Lodging is provided.
This is a remote lodge but has some of the most striking natural beauty you will ever see. Most have solid track record and impeccable references. This is truly a wonderful opportunity for the right person.
