The Sterile Processing Technician II, in conjunction with the Operating Room Instrument Technician, is responsible for the inspection, preparation, and sterilization of instruments and instrument sets utilized in the Main Operating Room. Loads and unloads sterilizers.
Qualifications: Requires a current Central Service Technician Certification or Surgical Technologist diploma or Certification. Two years surgical instrument preparation experience is preferred.
Skills: Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Knowledge of complex surgical instrumentation. Ability to read, write and speak English.
