It's important to us that the individual we work with have experience building content management systems, a strong understanding of how to integrate social functionality, an interest in social and environmental issues, be dependable in meeting deadlines, and a good communicator. User experience will be of upmost importance for AMP, as one of the problems we're trying to solve is ease of discovery - right now it's very difficult for sustainability professionals to find the best information and resources given how dynamic and disaggregated this sector is. A sleek, modern and minimalist look / feel is also desired, as most of the current sustainability resource hubs are non-profits that feel out of date, dry and boring.
Your primary contact would be AMP's founder, working FT on AMP and located in Santa Monica, and the two of you will have regular contact with AMP's other team member (in SF). We will begin working with a UX designer in December on wireframes and would like to begin development by mid-January. The project will last ~3 months and will be compensated. If the relationship works well and we receive angel investment post-beta, there will be an opportunity to join the team as the CTO, and receive equity + salary. We look forward to hearing from you!
