More infoExperienced Trail Guide Position: Our ranch has an immediate position for an individual to perform duties guiding trail rides along the mountains, in order to be considered for this position you ABSOLUTELY NEED THE FOLLOWING:

1) A valid Driver's license, it must be a California Driver's license (no interviews are available for out of State driver's licenses, even if in transit)

2) Valid Medical insurance card (if you don't have a valid medical insurance card we cannot interview or hire you);

3) Five (5) years of recent experience as a trail guide in Public Parks or a Mountains setting, you will be responsible for the safety of children and beginner riders from day one on the job.

4) TOP PHYSICAL SHAPE, this is a very physically demanding position which requires the ability to lift 50lbs or more pounds many times a day with ease and ride a horse anywhere from 1 to 6 hours in a day

5) WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED as well as Holidays

6) You will be required to sign an independent contractor's agreement and work as one with little or no supervision

7) We run a background check and will require that you give our facility the permission to perform a drug test if needed at any point in time during your contract with the ranch.
