Startup company offering Acrylic Canvas Painting for kids and adults.We are looking to hire a freelance artist who would be available to work as our art instructor for workshops that last for 1.5 to 2 hours.

Our artist will provide samples for each month to be viewed on our website for reservations. They will then re-paint the sample scheduled for that workshop, walking the students through step-by-step.

We provide all the supplies to the artist and students.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, imaginative, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working with adults and children. Our classes are for all skill levels--VERY beginner to talented. By becoming one of our artists we also promote you as an artist! We list you on our website and all marketing materials!

We are looking for students or professionals who are highly skilled artists and willing to do research on what paintings are competitive with current Canvas Studios and add their own artistic flare! We are about fostering a fun, low stress, non-judgmental environment that inspires everyone to enjoy the process of creating something from nothing. Looking for someone friendly, fun and reliable to become part of our team and grow with us.

REQUIRED SKILL SETS:
The ability to paint
A fun, dynamic personality (people just love to watch you go!)
Reliable transportation (some travel MAY be required)
Punctuality is a must (we start on time, and that doesn't work without the artist)
Dependable work ethics (but you should still know how to have fun!)
You MUST be 21 or over
Must be comfortable on stage and have an outgoing personality and have a stage presence.
Must be able to articulate clearly and concisely what they are doing to a crowd of 20 to 30 people. Need to be able to project voice. Quiet mousey voices are no good.
You must be OK with lifting and moving items. There is some "grunt work" associated with the position which requires the artist to help set up art stations for up to 30 people. This may require moving tables and chairs into position as well as lifting crates filled with 3 gallons of paint.

DESIRABLE SKILL SETS:
You can come in early and transmute our paint stock
You can stay late and help the staff
You're a Facebook Guru and can network the socks off our patrons (we LOVE social networking)
We feel it is critical for our artists to exude passion for art and fun. The focus should always be heavy on fun and light on real art instruction
