LVN/TECH for Rehab (Winnetka)

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Dispensing medication to clients
-Following MD orders
-Ordering medication
-Monitoring vital signs
- Initial Physical assessment
-Detox rounds on clients
-Drug testing clients (breathalyzing, UA)
-Initial intake procedures and body searches

Must have:
-1 year of previous experience with dispersing medication preferably within a detox or psych facility
-Open availability, including weekends
-Understanding of MD orders and MARs

Program Coordinator - After School Program (North Hills, Winnetka)

More infoLife Skills Training and Educational Programs, Inc., LifeSTEPS, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization, is currently recruiting for a Program Coordinator position for our After School Program in North Hills and Winnetka, CA. This is a part-time position at $12.00 an hour for 12 hours per week.

The Program Coordinator designs, implements, and coordinates activities and programs under the direction of the Director of Social Services within assigned affordable housing complexes. This position works closely with the Director of Social Services to provide the highest quality of service to the residents.

Example of Duties:
1. Implement programs for residents based on the community needs identified, including but not limited to: computer labs, pre-school co-op, tutorial assistance, games, classes and social groups.
2. Maintain contact with the property manager at each site visit, and communicate information on activity program information as appropriate.
3. Refer residents in need of community referrals and case management to the Director of Social Services.
4. Make reports to Child Protective Services or Adult Protective Services as mandated reporters.
5. Responsible for collecting data necessary for reports, grants, and statistics.
6. Employee must maintain community room/classroom in an organized and clean manner and decorated in monthly theme (where applicable).
7. Employee must be able to maintain inventory of craft supplies and communicate with DSS when supplies are needed.
8. Utilize creativity when introducing crafts, events, activities, etc. in order to provide the best experience for the participants.

Essential Functions:
1. Employee must be able to physically be at each assigned property.
2. Employee must be able to demonstrate craft projects and conduct activities in both indoor and outdoor settings.
3. Employee must check phone messages and respond to supervisor by the beginning of the shift on the next scheduled work day (Monday through Friday).
4. Employee must be able to communicate via telephone.
5. Must be able to identify and meet the instructional needs of the participants based on learning styles, backgrounds or special needs.
6. Must be able to maintain control of participants in an after school program setting.
7. Regular attendance and timeliness is mandatory due to compliance requirements.

Education/Experience:

College degree preferred. High School diploma required plus 2 years' experience in a similar environment providing services to children.
