Plant Manager / Production Line Manager / Inventory coordinator for mechanical / Electrical Equipment. We are very much like a new start up venture , We are now setting up a new Assembly line which incorporates 12 different subassemblies with over 300 components , many of which is manufactured by us in the same facility . This position is for a professional , well experienced Manager to set up , organize , schedule all aspects of the manufacturing part of the company , including the inventory control plus the supervision of approximately 20 to 50 people. Must have Mechanical -knowledge with good people skills. Must also know how to do daily scheduling / Time assignments for each person and review results of each and make sure they were on time and on budget for their assigned tasks. Person would work directly under the president of the company and be fully responsible for budgets of product assembly cost. Must have ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment.
We were once a 10 million dollar a year company but have slipped to less than two Million. We are rebuilding and looking for the special experienced professional to run manufacturing we build many games found in Dave & Buster's & Chucky Cheese locations.

Production Assembly Assistant (South Bay)

More infoSmall custom wedding invitation company looking for friendly, easy-going assistants who are able to learn quickly, work independently; detail oriented and interested in scrap-booking. Must be reliable, efficient, detail-oriented, thorough, and work well under deadlines. We are looking for several production assistants to assemble aspects of custom orders. Qualified staff will earn a per piece profit for the labor they provide (i.e.: cutting, layering, assembling, etc.). Stock, supplies and instructions will be dropped off/picked up by assistant for production and returned.

Position is temporary, (filling position of current assistant on maternity leave), 2 to 4 months, with possibility for work after assistant returns.

Interested applicants:

-should have an interest in the arts, design, scrap-booking, stamping or similar interest.
-should have a clean, well organized area to work in
-should have a keen eye to detail and accuracy is VERY important
-should be able to make clean nice bows
-must be able to work with fast deadlines
-must own a quality pair of scissors
-that live in the south bay, close to San Pedro a plus!
-must have transportation to deliver or pick up orders from my studio weekly
-that have their own quality paper cutter and/or ATG tape gun are a plus
