More infoBRG LLC Looking for a stylish, cultured & composed Food & Beverage Director / General Manager, Chef de Rang, for multi-concept restaurants in MID-JUNE 2012, in Austin, Texas. One is a four diamond rated fine dining room with 40 seats and $125 check average and the other is a casual, everything made from scratch bar/grill with a $24 check average and which services private dining for breakfast & lunch. The bar/grill is open to the public for lunch & dinner, late night & brunch. This position is the chef/owner's right-hand person so the candidate must have a positive outlook & a can-do attitude. Other qualities needed are an innate sense of self-responsibility and reliability, the ability to culture, educate and lead a full FOH staff with a natural sense of hospitality and guest interaction while having functional problem solving capabilities.

The idea applicant will be / have:
? Ability to pays close attention to detail and strictly adhere to company standards is an absolute must.
? Multi-lingual (preferred -- any languages).
? Must have very deep knowledge of fine dining etiquette and Superior food / beverage knowledge & will work to train staff.
? No ego driven people but rather stable & goal oriented.
? Familiarity with the entire MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Background in scheduling, inventory processing and tracking, and financial reporting
? Have greater than 5 years fine dining management experience in a resort, hotel or private club. (Relais & Chateaux, Michelin starred or similar preferred)
? Must be able to keep oversight of all operations and be in constant communication with the chef/owner, executive corporate chef, corporate bar manager and back office staff.
? ***Must have permission to work in the US.***
? The applicant will be required to pass a drug screening before job will be offered.
? Will be able to handle stressful situations and with upset people always striving to deliver gracious, discreet & knowledgeable service while always cognizant of the fiduciary responsibility to the restaurant.
? Must be able to work long hours on their feet.
? Pay is above market but based on experience (especially abroad) for the right candidate
? Must have 3 verifiable work related references.
