An innate curiosity regarding technology is required as positions will involve working on the latest and most advanced server hardware available. No off the shelf servers are used, everything is custom built. Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing POST and OS boot issues is required. Researching upcoming and near term technology to be ahead of the curve is expected.

Our environment is very relaxed and friendly, it's a stressful job when things go wrong so we try to keep day to day stress-free. We value self learning and curiosity far more than paper certs so if you haven't had Linux/BSD as part of your formal work duties please list any personal experimentation you've done in your cover letter. If you lack any personal or professional experience with command line unix/linux operating systems and only know how to work in a Windows environment this isn't the job for you.

Technician position responsibilities:
Managing live chat support, helpdesk ticket support, and phone support.
All flavors of Linux, BSD, and Windows OS installation and basic their configuration.
Diagnosing and resolving failed server hardware.
Identifying server network related issues.
