The required candidate must have:
--PREVIOUS AUTO BUYING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
--Automotive knowledge
--Excellent customer service skills
--Must have excellent computer skills and be good with technology.
--MUST have reliable car for attending auto auctions several times a week, some located 50-100 miles away.
--MUST HAVE GOOD DRIVING RECORD
--Business-level phone and e-mail etiquette
Must feel confident in doing daily tasks and job duties such as:
--Purchasing vehicles for inventory from a variety of sources, such as auto auctions, etc.
--Arranging vehicles to be retail ready (arranging mechanic work, detailing, etc)
--Photographing vehicles and listing online
--Listing vehicles for sale online, including our website and eBay
--MUST have experience in internet sales
--Communicating with vendors and customers
--Be available to meet customers by appointment, including weekends
Hours can be quite flexible, but will be approximately 20-25 hours per week, split between our office, auctions, and your home. Some of the work can be done at home, virtually, with the proper computer set-up.
Even with these hours, you can still expect to make a full-time income.
Pay is commission-based, with a minimum draw plus very reasonable bonuses. Very good income-growth potential once you have become comfortable with the position.
