Experience:
-TV/Film or Broadcast rentals management experience greatly desired
-Experience on a TV/Film set, preferably in Production Mgmt., is a plus
-R2 Rental software experience a big plus

Job Description:
The Operations Manager is a key player in the efficient function of the rental house. He/She is the eyes and ears of the floor, and the last check as gear is going out the door.
Main duties include:
-Greeting clients and directing them to the appropriate prep bay
-Organizing and scheduling camera prep techs
-Acting as liason between the rentals department, tech department, and inventory to ensure proper equipment is allocated for each job
-Organizing tech meetings and coordinate plans for daily rentals operations
-Acting as a backup prep tech when needed
-Constantly identifying possible problems and solutions in efficiency in rentals workflow
-Scanning out equipment and light database maintenance
-Constantly researching in-house systems and gear to provide the best solutions to clients
-Directing load outs and load ins of outbound and inbound jobs
-Maintaining a secure warehouse by following and enforcing security procedures
-Enforcing all rental procedures across all departments to ensure consistency
-Overall management of all floor activities, demos, and personnel
