About me:
I am a professional woman who is currently working a full-time job while running a company on the side. I have just finished writing a book that will be published soon. I also run several meetup groups and organize events for the local tech community, attend conferences regularly, and am working on getting some speaking gigs. It's a lot going on! And that's why I need someone organized to help me stay on top of things.
The work:
Here are some examples of some of the tasks that I'd need help with:
* Updating web site content (using WordPress, little or no knowledge of HTML is required, but would be a plus.)
* Handling Twitter and Facebook postings and responses
* Making phone calls to book venues, catering/food orders, get information, and other tasks necessary for organizing events
* Contacting potential sponsors and sweet-talking them into sponsoring events
* Helping to keep my calendar organized, reminding me of appointments
* Possibly running some errands and/or attending events - I know this could be a hassle and I'm flexible on it - but if you're willing and able, that's definitely a plus
* Online shopping - finding deals and bargains
Requirements:
* Must be organized and detail-oriented.
* Tech/computer savvy
* Own your own computer and cell phone
* Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
* Friendly and outgoing
