JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Manager is responsible for the overall shift operations and the execution of product excellence in a store. This position reports to the Store Manager; however, in the absence of a Store Manager, the Assistant Manager effectively is the store leader.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
-- Lead Store Operations: Leads and manage shifts while acting as manager-in-charge of store.
Ensure Compliance: Perform all cash handling requirements of a manager-in-charge and assist with the implementation of The Melt's Policy and Procedures.
-- Provide Feedback: Partner with Store Manager to coach, counsel and direct Crew Members.
-- Lead Crew: Maintain a calm exterior at all times and set a positive example. Participate in the interviewing and hiring process for new Crew members. Assist with the training and on-boarding of new Crew members on all procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
-- Must be 18 to apply.
-- Must have at least 6 months Assistant Manager experience.
-- Must have 1 year of supervisory experience in a fast-casual or quick-service restaurant environment.
-- Must have open availability which includes the ability to work weekends.
-- Knowledge of P&L is a plus.
-- Must be able to read and communicate in English.
-- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
-- Must be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
-- ServSafe certification prior to start.
-- Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to learn quickly and the ability to work as part of a team.
-- Must eat cheese!
