? Process and enter customer purchase orders, respond to customer inquiries. Maintaining solid customer relationships is top priority in this position.
? Supports the sales effort through teamwork with associates, backing-up and assisting co-workers
? Process customer purchase orders: order entry, confirm inventory availability, pricing, payment mode, production and manufacturing schedules and shipping schedules, coordination of freight.
? Monitor of active orders: ensure smooth processing from receipt, through supply chain and manufacturing of order through shipping and invoicing in accounting.
? Follows up with customers to assure satisfaction after shipment of the order, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
? Routinely contacts current customers, develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
? Calls prospective customers to qualify leads and explain types of products offered.
? Quotes prices within guidelines and encourages customers to order products.
? Interacts with other departments within the Company to successfully provide information and delivery service to the customers.
? Updates Customer required Web/EDI information based on clients specifications.
? Creates and Issue RMA to Client when approved by Department Manager.
? Updates any adjustments that need to be made in inventory Control through the month end cycle count process.
? Enter BOM and Routing data in MAS90, new and revision, following established procedures for BOM approval and change control.
? Routinely reports on sales activities.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
? 3-5 years of business experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.
? 3-5 years experience in customer service, inside sales, and/or order entry, EDI is preferred.
? Experience with general supply chain/ERP/MRP software for Sales/Planning/Purchasing/Inventory Control. Specific knowledge of MAS/Sage (an integrated program) a plus, but not required.
? Possess good organizational and communication skills, ability to analyze situations quickly and make decisions that both benefit the company and customer.
? Possess clear communication skills, follow up skills, professional and supportive telephone manner with in-house and customer contacts. Write professional and informative correspondence
? Team player; willing to complete special assignments on call when needed.
? Ability to work in a frequently interrupted, short-deadline environment while giving courteous support for customer's immediate needs.
? Ability to read, writes, spell; compose business letters, and use common business math applications. General office and accurate data entry skills.
? Strong customer sales support skills, with some telephone support experience, able to instill a sense of confidence in customers.
? Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Act or similar contact management software a plus.
