Kitchen Prep (West Los Angeles/Santa Monica)

More infoCompany looking to hire part-time experienced kitchen preps. We have been in operation 20 years and are looking for kitchen prep person to join our team. Must be available nights, days, and weekends approximately 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
-Prepare food items with a professional attitude
-Maintain food and work place safety
-Communicate and work positively with other team members

Qualifications:
-At least 2 years related experience
-Great organizational and communication skills
-Able to read recipes, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Must be able to weigh and measure all ingredients according to recipe
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
-Ability to stay organized with a focus on quality and consistency
- Must be punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to high standards
-Ability to lift at least 50lbs and stand for up to 6 hours per day
-TB testing, live scan, and Certified Food Handlers certification required.
