MARKETING ASSISTANT: The Counter(r) is looking for a local store marketing assistant for our El Segundo location. He/She will be responsible for strengthening our relationship with the surrounding community and local businesses in ways that positively impact sales. We're looking for someone who gets who we are and what makes us different, someone who knows (or wants to know) every nook and corner of El Segundo and the South Bay, and can help us strongly connect the two.

Primary responsibilities:
*Increase our number of guests and build incremental sales through local store marketing efforts.
*Expand our Burger Bar (Catering) business by reaching out to local businesses, generating sample opportunities and converting them into sales.
*Connect The Counter in meaningful ways with local families and organizations by setting up fundraisers and securing our participation in local/community events.
*Develop and implement ideas for in store programs and events that allow guests to experience The Counter in new ways.

Qualifications:
*Recent college graduate who has attained a marketing-related degree, or a current college student who is pursuing one
*Restaurant experience and knowledge is preferable
*Passion for the brand and enjoys interacting with others

Job Requirements:
*This is a part-time position Monday -Thursday from 12pm-4pm. (Hours may vary based on events-including some possible weekend work)
*Position will be based at our El Segundo location
*Successful candidate must have reliable transportation
*Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work on their feet for an extended period of time.

Compensation:
Hourly / T.b.d. depending on experience

MUSICIAN: Neighborhood Tavern looking for regular Thursday and Saturday night acts. Thursday is more acoustic so a solo or a duo is ideal and Saturday night 2 to 3 musicians that are more uptempo to get & keep room energy up. We have a small stage and lights but presently no PA system but only a minimal one is needed and desired. No drums.
