Office Manager

Groza Learning Center is a unique K-12 boutique learning center that provides personalized instruction and tutoring in reading, study skills, writing, math, and test preparation for high school and college entrance exams. We are a small, successful, fast-growing company in our area with plans to expand.

We seek a candidate for the position of Office Manager. This position is primarily a sales, marketing, customer care, and team leadership position. The Office Manager works with owners of the company to execute the objectives of the company, interfacing with clients and staff, ensuring and maintaining the high level of service our company is known for.

The Office Manager is responsible for communicating the standard of the company in everything they do- both for clients and staff members alike. There is a significant amount of coordination involved to ensure the smooth transition of information through the organization to guarantee each student's goals are implemented and that the parent is satisfied with our service. Candidate needs to be a gifted, intuitive communicator who is able to pinpoint needs and cultivate a bond with each family, thus becoming a team with the parents for each child's academic success. Director is also responsible for promotions, advertising, and maintaining a positive relationship with our small, tight-knit community. Because we pride ourselves on maintaining a fun work environment for students and employees, candidate must have a sense of humor and enjoy the work environment. Specific experience with balancing fun and productivity is what we are looking for.

This position requires a lot of attention to detail. A qualified director will have the ability to self-assess on a regular basis, always fine tuning their work to achieve more success. Experience in public and private education is highly desirable.
Candidate will be compensated with a base salary. Because we are a young, fast-growing young company, there is potential for exciting opportunities and promotion.

Office Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Superb client communication- phone or in-person
2. Responsible for generating new business and retaining existing business
3. Manage center's finances including: payments, deposits, refunds, and any expenses related to staff and office.
4. Support owners with administrative and task assistance
5. Lead, motivate, and evaluate staff members
6. Monitor and maintain center activity
7. Oversee parent communication
8. Manage new projects
9. Act as a positive role model to students

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree preferred with superb academic record
2. Educational experience a plus. 1-2 years in teaching, teaching certificate, and/or curriculum development experience preferred but not required
3. Excellent writing skills
4. Strong problem solving, decision-making, creative thinking, and listening abilities
5. Passion for customer service and business growth
6. Ability to work independently and take initiative when owners are not present
7. Desire to work in a fast paced, intense work environment
8. Past success in education, training, sales, or retail service industries
9. Strong leadership, motivation, customer service and communication skills
10. Must enjoy children and working in a team environment
11. Meticulous attention to detail
12. The ability to manage time well with strategies in place to multi-task successfully
13. High energy and enthusiasm
