QC Lab Tech (Long Beach)

Job Duties
? Perform independent inspection functions to verify product conforms to specifications.
? Collects and logs data for samples of finished goods, works in progress and raw materials
? Assist management in identifying and reporting non-conformance issues and trends.
? Performs and documents a wide variety of inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedure
? Assists management in conducting inquiries and investigations.
? Performs R & D functions such as making custom samples and / or conducting taste / flavor tests
? Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements
? High School Diploma or Equivalent (e.g. GED).
? 2+ years of relevant industry experience required (FDA, GMP, Pharma or Nutra)
? Excellent communication skills: Verbal & Written.
? Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
? Accurate Data Entry Skills
? Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
? Demonstrate ability to follow instructions.
? Demonstrate good attendance and punctuality.
? Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to work effectively in a fast paced work environment.
? Demonstrate basic aseptic technique
? Common micro lab practices
? Basic metrology
? Basic chemistry and physical properties
? Ability to lift 40 lbs on occasion
? Ability to stand for 2 + hours
? Comfortable wearing personal protective items such as face mask, safety goggles and lab coat.
? M-F 10am-6pm, occasional Saturday 3-6pm
