After-school Teacher Needed (La Crescenta-Montrose)

Job Requirements:
Able to teach students grades K-12.
Preferably bilingual (English and Korean).
At least one year of work history of any kind.
Availability from 1:30PM to 8PM on most weekdays, but work schedule may vary.
Reliable transportation needed for potential rides and pick-ups for students.
Multiple reliable forms of contact. (cell phone, e-mail, text, etc)
Preferably local resident.
Enrolled in college or with BA degree. (Teaching credential preferred. Must supply proof of enrollment for students).
Able to teach at least Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2.
Long-term commitment of at least 6 months.

Job Description:
Teachers will be working with students in a small group setting assisting them to achieve higher grades in school. Teachers in charge of students grades K-6 will be responsible for helping students complete homework and give lessons based on the needs of the students. Teachers in charge of students grades 7-12 will be required to give lessons at least once a week on specific subjects, or may be assigned to private tutoring sessions.
