A leading design studio in West Los Angeles is looking for a Part-Time IT Assistant to start as soon as possible.

Individual will assist our in-house IT Manager in handling all aspects of system administration, including maintenance of all computers and servers in multi-server Mac environment. Assist in monitoring network, backup and performing restoration procedures. Will also help in the installation of new hardware/software/plug-ins, and assist creative, production and administration staff with day-to-day troubleshooting and technical issues.

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

Education: Junior or Senior College Student Majoring in Computer Science, Engineering or other related studies or equivalent work experience. Apple Certifications are a Plus.

Required skills: Must have excellent troubleshooting/problem solving, and communication skills. Proficiency with Mac OSX 10.7 &10.8 is a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe CS6 Design Standard, email/calendar packages for Mac environments, knowledge of network connectivity for troubleshooting internet, mail and printing issues.

Familiarity with Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Maya, a plus.

This is a part-time position with 15 hours or more per week. Days preferred are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
