Junior Paralegal

Paralegal needed for a distinguished law practice based in the Pacific Palisades. This boutique firm has a strong practice in White Collar criminal defense, litigation, and appeals. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone driven that wants to grow with a practice and gain ideal experience that you can't find at a larger firm. Paralegal daily duties will include:

? Cite checking and filling in cites on briefs
? Records and document review
? Records of appeals
? Calendering
? Motions
? Cite-checking via Westlaw
? Various administrative and clerical tasks on a daily basis

Ideal Paralegal candidate will have the following:
? Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved school
? At least 1+ year of paralegal experience, preferably in criminal defense or litigation
? Experience with legal research
? Software experience with Westlaw, Microsoft Office, and proficient typing skills
? A willingness to assist in any manner to help the team achieve their desired outcomes. This is a smaller office and every member of the team wears multiple hats.
