An innovative online production and distribution studio is looking for a rockstar Social Media Manager to join a small startup team of production and marketing professionals to aid in the cultivation of fanbases to distribute major entertainment properties across the world via social media, with emphasis on the Facebook Ad platform (Facebook PMD?). This is a full time position with a competitive salary, so serious inquiries only please!

Responsibilities will include:

- Help produce innovative social media campaigns and manage day-to-day editorial content for company's social media channels in North America and abroad.
- Work closely with company's creative producers, marketing, and content licensers to ensure social media programs and communications are optimized for engagement and ROI.
- Quickly develop a deep knowledge and understanding of company's brand objectives to effectively execute social media strategy and take ownership of one or more specific Company's social platforms and properties.
- Coordinate social media campaigns in support of the company's Original Series/Film slate and brand clients.
- Interact with and manage large fanbases and coordinate high quality content execution.
- Serve as a media contact for non-traditional online outlets, cultivating relationships with tech, entertainment and niche bloggers in North America and beyond.

The successful candidate will:

- Be capable of operating effectively and efficiently in a fast-moving, unpredictable media environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously under deadline.
- Be effective at working with a broad range of partners and vendors within company's as well as external PR and Marketing agencies.
- Be able to function autonomously and effectively as a member of a loosely-coupled, but highly-aligned team.
- Demonstrate a desire and capacity to work in a newsroom-style environment that requires quick thinking, great calm, creativity, excellent taste, and a good sense of humor.
- Show a marked interest in the entertainment landscape, especially television and movies, as well as technology and general pop culture.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of three years experience working in a corporate, studio, or agency setting focused on social media and digital marketing communications.
- The candidate will likely have a bachelor's degree and be conversant in a wide range of social media platforms, general online PR and marketing strategies, and social listening tools.
- Must have demonstrated skills in "like" conversion, low cost per acquisition and clear ROI.
- Must have a MacBook Pro or equivalent that is mobile.
- Must have adequate transportation.
