The Pasadena Mental Health Center (PMHC) serves individuals who need emotional support and guidance during difficult periods in their lives. PMHC serves adults, children, couples and families from all cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, from Pasadena/Altadena area and surrounding communities. Offerings include confidential, one-on-one individual counseling, couples therapy, family therapy and support groups. Sessions are offered in both English and Spanish.

The following positions are currently available at PMHC, part of Five Acres' Therapeutic Family Services Program:

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR - PMHC
Responsible for the supervision, development, and coordination of services provided by clinical staff in training at the Five Acres' PMHC program office based in Pasadena, CA, in accordance with treatment goals, professional standards and licensing requirements.

CLINICAL COORDINATOR - PMHC
Full-time (40) hrs. per week position reporting to the Program Supervisor, with primary functions entailing various coordination responsibilities, including:
• Coordinating the YAB program, which includes: 1) Selection of students for YAB, 2) training students, 3) assigning cases, audit charts; 4) holding weekly meetings with the therapist; 5) collaborating with the Pasadena Police Department regarding the cases; 6) coordinating the parenting groups, teen groups; and, 7) attending all board meetings with the Police Department.
• Coordinating the 1733 CAPIT grant, which includes assigning cases to clinicians, monitoring and meeting the grant/budget expectations, and attending grant meetings.
• Coordinating therapists' schedules, assigning referrals, and ensuring that they have a full caseload.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide Administrative supervision to 2'nd Tier Clinicians, which includes case assignment, productivity, budget goals, timesheet, chart compliance and any administrative actions.
• Providing clinical supervision to 3 -- 4 clinicians, as well as providing group supervision.
