The Tiffany & Co. Senior Security Officer maintains a secure environment for customers and employees at all times and is responsible for all physical security applications and emergency response programs within the store environment. This role is a robust position with many daily duties that include assisting with operations controls and protecting company assets. He or she also serves as the first point of contact and ambassador for Tiffany customers as they enter the store and the last person they see as they leave. The Senior Security Officer is therefore critical in ensuring a positive Tiffany experience from beginning to end for each customer. The Tiffany Senior Security Officer will be accountable for the following key accountabilities:

Physical Security of Branch: Ensure the security posts at local store are manned at the front customer entrance during all customer hours. Ensure physical security applications in local store are to standard by conducting daily inspections of all physical security systems, including radios, locks, keys, perimeter doors, etc.

Manage equipment service repairs through the equipment database and liaison with corporate global protection on all service calls and work through to completion.

Emergency Preparedness: Maintain IMP site readiness and ensure emergency procedure guidelines and evacuation plans are in place. Complete IMP checklist monthly and conduct 2 tabletop drills per year.

Tiffany Experience: Enhance the customer's experience at Tiffany by acknowledging customers as they enter and leave the store. Provide each customer with a consistent, appropriate and gracious greeting.

Project a professional and calm demeanor while dealing with internal and external customers, regardless of situation.

Personal Leadership: Conduct monthly training sessions for staff as well as onboarding for new staff members.

Function as the store liaison with Facilities and IT. Lead staff by raising awareness of security controls and procedures. Lead Health and Safety Committee. Establish and maintain an open line of communication between branch management and the regional security manager.

Required Qualifications:

High School DiplomaHighest level of integrityAbility to communicate with customers and employees both verbally and written.Strong computer skillsRetail store hours necessary, including nights, weekends and holidays.Demonstrated leadership ability.An openness and ability to approach people and problems which will foster a spirit of cooperation and participation from all individuals toward a common goal.Strong interpersonal skillsMust have authorization to work in the United States or in the country where the position is based.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a retail/security environment1-2 years prior experience in a security related position
