Adjusters: experienced professionals who can read and interpret complex policies, do critical research with all parties involved in the claim, and then make critical decisions on eligibility as well as benefits awarded.

We are committed to exceptional customer service to our claimant, while vigilantly assessing every claim to protect our company's financial position. Many of our insured are elderly -- they and their family members need our expert help in guiding them through a very difficult time in their life: the need for in-home care assistance, a move to assisted living or even the move to long term care. You must be compassionate, patient. . . and accurate.

To be successful, it is likely you'll have experience in:
? One or more years of insurance claims management -- best if you've managed disability claims, short term disability or worked in a legal firm that specialized in person injury.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language, including the ability to read, understand and explain insurance policy benefits
? Previous experience using computers in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel
? Medical terminology knowledge is preferred
? Ability to accurately calculate complex
? Highly developed customer service and interpersonal skills. Preference given to candidates who have served senior citizens.
? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize, meet filing deadlines. Excellent memory/recall of situations and specifics.
? Preference given to candidates with BA/BS degrees, but college-level coursework will be considered alongside industry certifications and pertinent experience.
