What we're looking for
The Customer Service Specialist works closely with the heads of both marketing and operations.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in customer service, and be strongly customer satisfaction oriented. The following traits in particular are important: good communicator, reliable, even tempered, task-oriented, and patient. The ability to work with a diverse group of people in a small, team-oriented environment is a must.
Key Accountabilities for the Customer Service Specialist include the following:
1. Managing customer calls and emails. Customer communications may include questions about orders, questions about our website and the products we carry, issues with orders, and more.
2. Order taking over the telephone. Customers who are uncomfortable placing an order online will frequently call and place over the telephone.
3. Processing customer returns and refunds. We have a return & refund policy the customer service specialist will be responsible for managing
4. Managing problem orders. This may entail research on lost packages, wrong-shipped merchandise, and more
5. Resolving billing issues
6. Tracking customer service statistics, and preparing accurate weekly and monthly reports
7. Other tasks as needed and available
Qualifications include:
Strong communication skills with a willingness to serve our customers
A computer savvy, friendly, detail-oriented, consistent, patient, even-tempered, service-oriented professional
1-3 years of related customer service a plus
Bachelor's degree preferred
Availability from 9AM-5:30PM Monday through Friday
