Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a well-qualified Professional Services Engineer for our Client Services team to lead client engagements requiring advanced system configurations for streaming video using MediaPlatform's media-management software. You will work directly with external customers to resolve problems and answer questions by devising tests, researching knowledge bases and consulting with Software Engineers and members of the Product team.

Responsibilities:
? Direct support to customers who are using our webcasting and media management software
? Manage customer expectations and project deliverables while effectively communicating and working with other MediaPlatform team members
? Develop product documentation relative to on-site installations and configurations
? Support solution installation, customization, testing, and deployment, including preparation of test scenarios
? Limited travel to client sites to provide support for on-site system configuration and software installation

Qualifications:
? Some experience with network administration*; knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
? Understanding of enterprise scale networking topologies (nationwide and global footprints)
? Experience with a variety of networking equipment (routers, firewalls, switches, etc) from Cisco, Extreme, Riverbed, and others
? Experience with configuring a multicast enabled network
? Experience with video technologies a strong plus: Flash Media Server, VP6, h.264, HDS, HLS, FLV, F4V, MP4, Wowza, Live Streaming, RTMP, RTMPT
? Proven experience in a client-facing role
? Strong project management skills
? Ability to create clear and organized process and technical documentation
? Adapts to changes in the work environment and able to deal with frequent delays or unexpected events
? Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
? Accepts responsibility for own actions and follows through on commitments even under tight deadlines

*This is not a Network Administration role. This position will enable you to interact with clients during pre and post implementations of the product. You will have exposure to a variety of technical environments to provide software configuration.
