This position works within the service delivery and engineering group.

Responsibilities:
Take proactive and reactive actions to correct client and infrastructure issues.
Follow standards, policies and procedures for meeting service SLAs through the interaction with internal and external stakeholders of the system.
Responsible for all aspects of the IaaS data center services including Linux/Unix servers and networking equipment.
Perform regular (preventive) and corrective maintenance to network devices.

Identify performance issues and recommend/implement corrections, identify alarm correlations and appropriate response actions

Job Requirements
Participate in 24x7 on call rotation periodically
Client facing with Fortune 100 clients as needed
Associate in Computer Science, Computer Networking or equivalent degree, or 3-5 years direct experience related to the skills specified.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues under pressure; previous experience in infrastructure support or NOC/Operations environment is preferred.
Good customer relations and communication skills are required.
Solid understanding of WAN and LAN technologies is required. CCENT or higher certification is desired.
Solid understanding of Linux with an emphasis on RHEL/CentOS is required. Linux certification is desired.
24/7 shift availability required, migrating to extend working hours and on-call shift work within a Support Operations Center.
Candidate must be able travel on very rare occasions both domestically and internationally.
All candidates must be US Citizens, and not have anything preventing a security clearance from being obtained.

Qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science
Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, etc.)
Microsoft Certifications (MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, MCTS etc.)
6+ years of I.T. Infrastructure support experience including 6+ years of Windows System Administration of Windows Desktops and Servers, VMWare and Cisco.
6+ years of enterprise class experience with data communications, data networking, and data security
Strong design, architectural, and strategic planning skills.
Solid experience with the support and administration of Microsoft Exchange
Experience with Mobility Management (BES, GOOD, MDM)
Database administration experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Enterprise datacenter experience(capacity planning, rack layout, cabling, power, cooling)
Experience with data network configuration and security including switches, firewalls, VPN, VLAN, anti-virus, Active Directory, DNS, routing, distributed authentication.
Experience with Cisco and SonicWall firewall, and Cisco Switches
Knowledge of Cisco Call Manager VOIP PBX, and Etrali turret phone systems
Operational knowledge of Layer2 and Layer3 data networking (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP)
Experience with data encryption technologies
Experience with Storage Networking (iSCSI, Fiber Channel, EMC Clarion/VNX, EMC RecoverPoint)
Experience with VMWare Administration (vSphere and View)
UNIX system administration experience
Demonstrated capacity for project planning and infrastructure documentation
Programming/Scripting ability in the Windows and UNIX environments
Participation in a 24x7x365 on call rotation. Occasional off-hour/weekend support
and/or projects. (Must be available to be at LA or El Segundo location within 60 minutes if necessary)
Able to work extended hours on occasion, light travel domestic and international, and be available to accept and work problem calls outside of normal hours as directed by management
