Behavior Consultant
Description
? Implements early intensive behavior intervention programs.
? Supervises behavior therapists working in the home.
? Collects, records, and monitors data on target behaviors.
? Maintains updated notebook and record of consumer's program.
? Writes progress reports, assist in assessment of new consumers.
? Oversees implementation of behavior programs by behavior therapist.
? Attends and participates in clinic meetings and other duties as assigned.
? Program development
? Teaches Parent education/In Home Parent Training 1:1
Qualification
? Motivated, professional, creative, positive, reliable, and caring individual with effective communication skills (oral and written).
? Completed Bachelor's degree in related field (special education, psychology, social work, counseling, education, child development)
Completed BCBA
? Background and TB clearance.
? Enrollment in a Masters program in related field.
? Has implemented PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), DTT (Discrete Trial Training), PRT (Pivotal Response Training), and or other ABA based programs.
? A minimum of 3.0 years of experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities using Applied Behavior Analysis.
? Previous training in lead position preferred.
? Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience
? Part-Time positions available
