More infoWe're recruiting intern candidates for a national financial services firm, who is seeking Summer Interns to join their program. These are incredible opportunities for college students to participate in meaningful projects that contribute to the overall business unit objectives. In addition to the assigned projects, Interns are given the opportunity to participate in activities that encourage networking with peers, managers, and bank employees.

The paid intern positions are full-time (40 hours/week during regular business hours) during the summer. The length of the internship is 12 weeks and can extend beyond that time depending on business needs, project requirements, and intern availability.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Based in the downtown Los Angeles office, this intern will assist the Portfolio Analytics team to support the Treasury Investment Portfolio. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Investment research and analysis for portfolio management purposes
* Assist in the development of periodic reporting and presentations
* Provide support to Portfolio Management staff with ad-hoc projects and/or analysis

Qualifications
* Currently enrolled college student (rising Junior, Senior, or first year graduate student) with a minimum of 3.0 GPA. Additional qualifications include:
* Finance or Economic majors preferred
* Excellent computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
* Microsoft Access experience a plus
* Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
* Excellent organization, time management, and attention-to-detail abilities
* Verbal/written communication skills are extremely important in this position and you must be able to conduct a professional dialogue clearly and concisely
* Previous intern experience a plus
