You will be reporting directly into the CEO/President of the company and tasked with managing the finances of the company, with all key accounting decisions. Directs financial activities of organization. Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, cash flow and earnings, based on past, present, and expected operations. Establishes, or recommends to management, major economic objectives and policies for company. Manage accounting department. May direct preparation of budgets. May prepare reports required by regulatory agencies. You will be responsible for cost accounting and inventory control. In addition maintain and close general ledger monthly, prepare balance sheets, monthly income statements and weekly cash flow analysis this is a hands on position and you will need to be comfortable with all areas of Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll, and manufacturing concepts.
The Controller will also manage the Budgeting/Financial Projections, alongside key financial reporting and supporting the CEO to allow for key business decisions to be made. The Controller role is pivotal to the business and will align and interact with all Operational management within the company. Requires 5 years of experience as a Controller in the manufacturing industry. Would like the candidate to have experience of ideally a CPA/MBA but will consider candidates without. In addition experience with Epicor Vantage ERP systems a significant plus.
