ORCO Block Co., Inc., a leading Southern California manufacturer of concrete block, interlocking pavers, segmental retaining walls and pre-blended mortar, is seeking an organized and efficient individual to provide exceptional customer service to our national account customers. This is an entry level position for a sales career at ORCO.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

? Valid CDL with excellent driving record
? Must be able to lift 80 lbs over short distance
? Associates degree, Bachelors degree preferred
? Technical aptitude in basic construction and in the use of PC software
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Documented success in person-to-person, business-to-business field sales/service

Responsibilities

? Support program sales through timely and consistent visits to assigned stores.

? Maintain in-store product to target appearance standards. Includes product placement, removal of undesirable product, refill marketing materials essential to the promotion of products manufactured by ORCO Block, etc.

? Construct product displays at national account customer locations

? Monitor store inventory levels. Make recommendations to appropriate store staff.

? Educate and train store personnel on product applications and benefits. Earn reputation as an excellent resource for answering questions and concerns in a timely manor.

? Encourage and perform product knowledge sessions for product end users. Includes Saturday presentations during primary season.

? Establish strong relationship with national account partner's key staff, including department managers, customer service, operations, and top store management.

? Resolve complaints and concerns asap. Communicate successes / challenges to ORCO management.

? Participate in local national account customer events

? Complete training courses, classes and seminars as assigned by ORCO Block.
