? prev ? next ? compensation: Commensurate with experience. Benefits available after 90 days.NEW POSITION: We are currently looking for an experienced assistant for a High Profile Dermatology office in Manhattan Beach. We will accept applicants with a background in plastics or cosmetics as well.

Immediate position available.

Must be able to perform back office duties such as medical, cosmetic and surgical procedures, prep billing and front office as needed, such as prescriptions, patient phone calls and scheduling.
Candidates must be polished, professional and have at least two years work experience. Dermatology or Plastic/cosmetic surgery background preferred. Experience with electronic medical records (Nextech) and dermatology coding/billing preferred.

Willing to train the right person with the right attitude. Looking for a smart, fast-learner who pays attention to detail and is able to anticipate physician and patient needs.

Must be Very clean with Great attitude, Good work ethic, Excellent customer service skills and Computer proficient.
Must be able to multi-task and work well in a busy, fast-paced, small group setting, willing to STEP UP to ensure proper office flow.

Interest in learning a variety of duties including medical, surgery, laser and cosmetic procedures is critical. We are on the cutting edge of dermatology and constantly strive to improve our techniques.
Successful candidates will receive training in medical terminology, dermatology medical and surgical procedures, sun protection and skin care products.
