The ideal candidate will have FIVE (5) OR MORE years of personal injury litigation experience and MUST already know how to handle a personal injury case from A-Z.
***BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH IS ALWAYS A PLUS***
We are looking for someone who has experience handling personal injury litigation cases and knows the routines.
The ideal candidate MUST be proficient in ALL of the following:
* Preparing Demand Packages.
* Processing Bodily Injury Claims.
* Filing and Service Requirements for Superior Court.
* Preparation of Initial Pleadings
* Drafting Basic Law and Motion Documents and Pleadings.
* Propounding Discovery Requests and Discovery Responses - including, Summarizing Depositions, Preparing Subpoenas, etc.
* Familiarity with Code of Civil Procedure, as well as all Local Rules.
* Calendaring
* Coordinating with Expert Witnesses.
* Trial Preparation: Important deadlines, Trial Notebooks, Jury Instructions, Motions in Limine, Civil Subpoenas, Exhibit List, Witness List
The office is automated and familiarity with law office computer technology including Abacus Law software is preferred.
We need someone with great personality that can think outside of the box.
