Smarterer is relaunching our wildly popular "...er Blog," ( http://smarterer.com/blog/ ) and we're starting off with guest (or ghostwriting) posts from professionals across a wide variety of expertise.

We'll be continuing the trend of career focused blogging, but with stress put on specific skills outlined in Smarterer's tests.

The blog posts themselves should be concise in nature, with a sound explanation of the skill or skills being highlighted, insight into how it is being used in practice today, and what trends one can expect for the future.

The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp on English language & grammar, expertise in the skill of topic, and an interest in helping others learn through written content.

For this particular installment of the skill highlight series we'll be focusing on:

Operating Systems

In addition to strong written abilities, knowledge of the following skills is required:

1) DOS
2) Solaris
3) Windows Vista
4) Basic Computer Networking
5) TCP/IP

In order to prove proficiency in these subjects, we will only be accepting applicants with strong scores in Smarterer's own tests on the subject, linked below:

Once hired, the freelancer will work closely with Smarterer's Community Manager to outline and execute the blog post.

We will make our final decision by January 6th.
