Chef Driven Fast Casual Concept needs Operator to Lead New Openings (Weho/DTLA/Los Angeles)

What we need:

We are currently looking for an individual to lead the culinary development and operational roll out of several chef driven - fast casual restaurants.? Over the next year we have an aggressive expansion plan.? With initial training in our current stores, this position will grow into a larger role leading opening teams of each new store.

The ideal candidate is an up and coming culinary operator that is experienced and can consistently demonstrate the ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams of individuals. This individual can grow with us as we build our brand.? We are focused on delivering quality-focused results in operational excellence, building effective teams, P&L management, strategic planning and brand positioning. The individual must be an effective analyst, problem-solver and communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.? Hard work is crucial to our culture as well as a willingness to perform (and understand) any task and every position within the operation. ?A culinary background is mandatory as our concept is highly chef driven and requires oversight/understanding and management of culinary operations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.

Minimum 2-4 years as a high performing Chef de Cuisine, Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef in a well-known, chef driven concept.

Proven expertise in budgets, forecasting, marketing, promotions, interviewing, driving retention, sales building, developing talent and operational excellence.

Fully engaged, hospitality minded attitude.

Expert computer knowledge (Excel, Windows, POS, etc.)

Must possess strong leadership abilities and time management expertise.

Proven ability to assess talent and develop managers.?

Ability to coach, teach and train others, provide feedback.

Demonstrates commitment to the cleanliness, sanitation and organization of all operations.

Chef David LeFevre has opened an eclectic, chef driven restaurant focusing on soulful food, engaging service, hand crafted cocktails and boutique wine selections. After opening in Manhattan Beach in April 2011, we are looking to recruit a magnetic, passionate, experienced and motivated crew to join our family.

A qualified Host Candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year hosting in an upscale casual atmosphere. Excellent multi-tasking skills and working well under pressure with a smile amidst a busy restaurant will be required. Being Guest First, quick thinking, grace under pressure and understanding the importance of the perfect word choices when handling Guests situations are qualities we hold in high regard.

Candidate's for all positions will possess humility, respect and integrity.

A flexible schedule is preferred -- dinner hours and Friday/Saturday/Sunday lunch/brunch availability is required. Most of all we are looking for individuals passionate about hospitality and relationship building. If you're a server who gets excited about showing our Guests what's new on the menu, a bartender who believes in the integrity of a well constructed, hand-crafted/from-scratch made cocktail, a busser/runner who learns something new about the menu on every shift or a host that a Guest can't help but smile at, than you're exactly what we're looking for.
