Senior HVAC Engineering Leader (East SF Valley)

We are a growing and busy, full service MEP firm located in the east SF valley, with a great client list and a steady flow of prominent projects through the office.

? 10 to 12 years of engineering level experience: 5 years experience in design engineering of HVAC systems followed by 5-7 years of supervising the production of commercial projects with designers and CAD personnel through team building.
? Experience must include complex building systems, central plant, wetside, CRAC, controls and systems
? Demonstrated ability to lead a team of designers/engineers
? Firm grasp of relative Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection design concepts
? Meeting experience includes client interface and design coordination, owner & trade coordination during construction
? Demonstrated experience in project delivery methods and coordinating MEP design and construction processes
? Excellent communication skills essential for team-based working
? Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment
? Must be highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges
? Ability to write reports and assess HVAC systems and construction quality
? Strong building and mechanical code and California Title 24 experience
? Demonstrated abilities using AutoCAD 2009+, Revit MEP experience is a plus
? EnergyPro experience required
? TRACE experience preferred

We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to join our Engineering team!

Scope:
Assist, monitor, inspect, train, direct, discipline, and oversee all daily maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Prioritize and ensure all maintenance requests a performed and completed in a timely and safe efficient manner
Perform maintenance inspections on back of house mechanical items to ensure safe and efficient function
Perform room and back of house inspections
Operate and ensure facility is at the highest level to guests' comfort at all times
Maintain accountability of parts and supplies
Assist director on engineering on forecasting budget, perform annual employee reviews, discipline counsel, and evaluate maintenance personnel
Assume responsibilities as department head during absents of the director of engineering

Qualifications:
? Mechanical, electrical and plumbing knowledge.
? Detail Oriented
? Ability to work under pressure.

Education: High school diploma

Experience: Engineering Experience required
