JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle bookkeeping for high-net worth individuals in the entertainment industry
- High volume accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare multiple bank reconciliations
- Investment reconciliations
- Process payroll, responsible for payroll taxes, quarterly returns and issuing
- Prepare annual 1099
- Vendor relationship

QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in Business Administration or completed some accounting courses
- Prior experience in the Entertainment Business Management, CPA Firm or Property Accounting is a plus or ideally 1+ years of bookkeeping experience (A/P, A/R, Bank Reconciliation, P/R, Sales Tax, Business License, etc)
- Datafaction or other Accounting software experience is ideal
- Prepares clear and complete work papers
- Experience with processing cash receipts, vendor invoices, payroll taxes, quarterly returns, and bank reconciliation process
- Excellent phone and communication skills
- Able to meet multiple deadlines

We are a Premiere Entertainment Venue located at the Long Beach Pike, and looking to hire for the positions below. Must be available on all holidays to be considered:

LINE COOK/KITCHEN PREP

The cook/kitchen prep is responsible for preparing and cooking food items from a limited menu. Must have experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment.

Duties:

-Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
-Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.
-Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
-Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
-Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
-Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.
-Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
-Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
-Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
-Order and take delivery of supplies.

Qualifications:
-Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.

HOSTESS

This position has room for growth within the company and the potential to move into a management position. The Hostess is responsible for greeting all guests that enter the club and seating the guests in a timely fashion before the start of each show. The Hostess also assists the Night Manager any operational functions of the night.

Duties:
-Greet all guests that come to the club
-Seat guests in a strategic and timely manner
-Assist guests with questions relating to the show or the club
-Manage general and guest list lines prior to the shows
-Sign up guests on our email lists
-Monitor the audience in the show room
-Help management keep shows running on time
-Assist the cashier with phones during busy periods
-Reset the chairs and tables after each show
-Assist with any other duties assigned by the Night Manager

Desired Qualifications:
-3 to 5 years working in the hospitality industry
-Previous experience as a shift manager a plus

Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 year experience cocktail serving
Must be able to work well in a high volume/high pressure environment

Must be able to commit to working at least 2-4 nights a week & all holidays
California ServSafe Food Handler Certification & previous Alcohol training is a PLUS
