California-based women's apparel brand, MICHAEL STARS, is looking for Store Manager candidates with a fluent understanding of the contemporary market, as well as a strong desire to be the face and style expert of our Montana Avenue location in Santa Monica, CA.

The Store Manager is the critical link between the store and the Corporate Retail headquarters. They are responsible for every aspect of the store's operations, including but not limited to:
- Sales, Service and Clientele Management
- Operational and Inventory Management
- Visual Merchandising
- Human Resource and Personnel Management/Training

Qualified candidates will have the following:
- Passion for FASHION and STYLING is essential with a strong knowledge of the Michael Stars brand and contemporary market
- 2 to 4 years of previous retail management experience, preferably in an apparel environment
- High School graduate or equivalent; College degree preferred
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding customer service and sales skills
- Ability to lead in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Brief knowledge PC applications: MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Prior experience with POS systems; Retail Pro a plus
- Ability to maintain positive company morale, as well as composure and professionalism under pressure while meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines
- Able to work a Full-Time including evenings, weekends and/or holidays (minimum of 45 hours per week required)
