--JOB DESCRIPTION--

This position begins on August 29th. Teachers will teach from 3-6pm, Monday through Friday. (Kindergarten teachers will have slightly different hours.) Versatility with different grade levels is preferred. Your first responsibility will be to make sure that each student completes his or her school's homework. Once each student's homework is double-checked, you will teach additional curriculum provided by Futurelink. Our Mathematics and Language Arts curriculum is designed to help students review and reinforce what they should already know, and also provide additional skills to give them a head start at school.

--JOB REQUIREMENTS--

+ Must be extremely fluent in elementary and middle school English/math.
+ Must be detail-oriented.
+ Must be able to lecture and engage the classroom in an active way.
+ Must have disciplinary strategies for commanding a classroom.
+ Experience with children is preferred. We will train promising candidates who do not have classroom teaching experience.
