Corporate Payroll Clerk (Temporary Position)
We are Liberman Broadcasting, Inc. ("LBI") the largest privately-owned Spanish broadcasting company with TV and radio stations operating in Arizona, California, Colorado, Texas, and Utah. We also broadcast our highly rated television programming through our "Estrella TV" network. We are seeking a Corporate Payroll Clerk to work in our Burbank, CA office. The successful candidate will possess initiative and drive, have some payroll and/or general business knowledge and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Summary of essential job functions:
* Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data.
* Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
* Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
* Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
* Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
* Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
* Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications: Analyzing Information, Data Entry Skills, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, and Thoroughness, General Math Skills, Reporting Skills, Verbal Communication, Organization, Knowledge Federal and State Payroll Laws.

Minimum requirements
* High School Diploma or G.E.D.
* Some college preferred but not required.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a preferred, but not required.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Experience in Payroll/ General Business Administration preferred but not required
* Outstanding computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel.
* Attention to detail, organized and thorough.
* Team player with a positive attitude.
* Honest and dependable.
