REPORTS TO: All levels of Management FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
GENERAL SUMMARY: Generates sales through supporting a consistent brand experience. Works as a member of the store team to execute Work Center strategies and lead a positive customer and brand experience. Sales Associates support a positive working environment by modeling Gap Inc. Purpose, Values, and Behaviors. Providing our customers with an optimal shopping experience is our #1 priority. We work as a team, and team members are expected to perform a variety of cross-functional tasks as assigned by the leader on duty or as needed to ensure overall customer satisfaction. This job description intends to describe the general nature and level of work people assigned to this job perform. It is not intended to include all duties and responsibilities.
Management and Operating
? Completes job specific training.
? Supports the execution of all shipment receiving and processing procedures to customer-ready standards.
? Completes floor replenishment to ensure customer satisfaction and size availability.
? Maintain store standards per Visual Presentation Assessment (VPA) direction to enhance customer shopping experience.
? Supports high standards of organization and cleanliness on sales floor.
Leadership and Employee
? Contributes to a positive work environment by consistently treating all Gap Brand customers and employees with respect.
? Upholds our Purpose Values and Behaviors.
? Upholds all company policies as outlined in the policy and procedures manual, Code of Business Conduct, and the Employee Policy Guide.
? Enforces all Loss Prevention policies, and communicates violations to the leadership team or the Code of Business Conduct Hotline.

? Promotes a safe working and shopping environment to maximize the customer experience.
? Offers suggestions to the leadership team to improve sales and operational processes.
ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:
? Reports to Customer Experience Manager, Brand Experience Manager, and all subordinate supervisory personnel
? Collaborates effectively across both the Customer Experience and Brand Experience work centers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
? Excellent time management skills
? Ability to delegate and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
? Excellent communication and organizational skills
? Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate
Preferred educational level:
? High School graduate or equivalent
Minimum experience:
? Six months of customer service experience preferred
? Previous retail experience preferred
**Physical Requirements:
? Ability to safely lift and carry 30 lbs.
? Ability to maneuver around the store and stockroom
Schedule Requirements:
? MUST BE AVAILABLE EARLY MORNINGS 3am-1pm with flexibility to work weekends to meet the needs of the business
*min/max work hours 8-20 hours a week
