In this position, you'll work alongside, and learn from, successful entrepreneurs and other 6-figure phone sales superstars that have grown our company from $0M in revenue in 2009 to over $6M in 2011 (we're on pace for $25M in 2012).
Yes, we're growing at over 400% annually...in large part due to the massive success of our phone sales and appointment setting team. If you think you're the best, it's time to join the best (and you must also have a constant desire to get BETTER, too).
Before I describe what this role entails, here are three quick points:
1) THIS IS NOT A LAME "PHONE SALES REP" GIG. You know what I mean...the gig where everyday you drive into an office you don't want to be at, push a product you don't believe in, and become more and more unfulfilled every day. The first thing you'll notice about us is our unique culture, super-fun office environment, and positive family spirit. This is a role that stimulates you, challenges you, fulfills you, and allows you to make a very good living if you've got the juice.
2) WE HIRE CHARACTERS NOT POSITIONS. If you have what it takes as an individual - in other words, if you "crush it" and are an overall stud (note: a stud can be a girl or guy) - then you'll fit in well at our company. Young or old, just out of college, if you have what it takes, we'll know! HOWEVER - Based on experience, people in their 20's and 30's typically fit this position the best. We know. How? Because we've hired 5-6 people in this position over the past couple of years and they've now moved up to being managers and fulfilling different roles in our company. We find that the most successful individuals in this role have both their heads and their hearts in the right place.
3) HUGE OPPORTUNITY (for the right person). Once you've been fully integrated in the Team, we're going to be trusting you with our company's largest asset...our customers. You'll be working diligently within a proven sales system and world-class sales training to set as many highly-qualified meetings for our customers as you can. Our customers' success will be tied directly to your success, and this is something we don't take lightly. As with any huge opportunity...if you perform well, you get paid well.
Oh, and one more thing...
Our mission is to end obesity, which is causing MASSIVE problems worldwide (in the U.S. alone, it costs us over $300B annually). To be successful in this role, you must also be passionate about health, nutrition, and making the world a better place. MORE ABOUT THIS ROLE
1) PROVEN SALES SUCCESS. Do you have experience setting appointments for sales people? Do you have other sales skills and success stories? Do you have a unique ability to get along with people and relate? If you don't have direct appointment-setting experience, you must prove to us that you have innate sales talent and be ready to describe your past sales successes. You'll need to prove you're a top-producer in past roles.
In short, we're seeking passionate people who are able to set appointments with high-quality locations in a specific city that are interested in receiving our FREE program. This includes schools, hospitals, office buildings, YMCAs, health clubs, and more. Your job is to contact these locations, determine if they're indeed a good fit for our program (per our specific criteria), locate the decision maker, and if the decision maker is interested, set-up a meeting between the location and our expert sales team to meet face-to-face. That's it!
Thus, you're not "selling" anything, you're just getting locations to say "yes" to a meeting with us (only if they're interested).
2) LEAD GENERATION. You don't need to do ANY lead generation! We're experts at lead generation and we supply you with all the leads you need to successfully complete a campaign. In fact, our system is so dialed, this isn't even a "traditional" sales job. All you have to do is set appointments with individuals so our expert sales team can offer them a FREE program built around health and wellness. This is a dream job compared to most sales roles.
3) HIGH ACHIEVER. You must be a high-achiever who is constantly striving to step up your game and get better in sales. This position is not for someone who wants a "cush" sales job making $60K+/year. If you're this person, please stop reading now. Rather, we need someone who checks their ego at the door, is always open for mentorship and training, and who strives to be the TOP-PRODUCER in the company, earning north of $100K/year. A true A-Player. We'll be able to tell if you're not.
4) MUST ACT QUICKLY. The position is open now, but based on the unique and lucrative opportunity, we don't expect it to be for much longer.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Telemarketing/TeleSales experience, or the burning desire to be a top salesperson
- Phenomenal on-the-phone communication skills
- No fear of rejection (a confidence that you know what you're doing is right)
- Persistence, persistence, persistence - tons of follow-up, not scared of making 80+ calls per day
- Incredibly organized and detail oriented
- Effective and efficient use of computer (able to work well within our CRM system)
- Amiable personality that is fun to work with and displays positive attitude/energy
- Good email writing skills
- Honest, RELIABLE, and loyal (doing exactly what you say you will)
- You must prove to my team that you're a top producer
- You must be a great fit for our team. We're down-to-earth, fun, and have a work-hard, play-hard mentality. Integrity and honesty are important character traits that you must have.
- You must have a strong work ethic, high degree of initiative, and continual desire to succeed
