The Sales Engineer analyzes customer telecommunications configuration requirements for technical feasibility (i.e. services can be installed and maintained) and ensures that the services will accomplish the customers objectives.

Candidate should be familiar with PPP, MLPPP, Bonded circuits, RDNS, HDLC, Signaling, Line coding and framing.

DUTIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

Provide technical and design support for the development and planning of Airespring services

Provide technical design support and assistance to customers ensuring requirements are met at time of procurement

Prepare, forward, file documents and update databases related to the following task: Circuit quotes, justification for service orders, circuit orders and letters of authorization

Address customer satisfaction issues in a timely manner and ensure their satisfaction

Knowledge of major carrier products and service offerings

Knowledge of voice, data and video communication

Strong computer skills to develop, refine, and maintain telecommunications databases

Experience escalating problems and work order requests through vendors

Excellent organizational, time management and service delivery skills

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities with shifting workloads and timelines in a fast paced environment

Ability to work in a team environment, as well as, independently

Must demonstrate a passion for customer service and a desire to provide the highest level of support to Customers

Excellent communication skills; verbal and written

Must have minimum 2 years experience in provisioning at the T1 level and above

Telecom experience/knowledge in the service provider arena is required. A sales support associate performs numerous clerical and office tasks to save the sales force valuable time.

Duties include but are not limited to; processing new sales leads, managing the correspondence between the sales team and their clients, monitoring customer accounts, providing data and reports to help the sales team.
