This isn't your usual associate editor position! You will be joining one of the most exciting start ups in Los Angeles and will have access to the top influencers and thought-leaders in health and wellness. There is rapid growth potential for both you and the business.

Thrive Market is an exciting new online marketplace that gives American shoppers direct access to wholesale prices on the best-selling natural and organic foods and products. We are headquartered in Culver City and will be launching in October with over 3,000 of the most popular health products on the market at wholesale prices.

Thrive Market is looking for an all-star Associate Editor. You will join a team of serial social entrepreneurs united by a passion for building a business to democratize access to healthy living for all Americans. The Associate Editor will work directly with the co-founder and VP of Content and will be responsible for producing, project-managing and publishing daily content to the Thrive Market blog. The editor will coordinate Thrive Market's network of world-class content creators, thought-leaders and influencers including some of the most recognized names in the health and wellness space. The ideal candidate is 22 - 25, highly organized, has strong language skills and is proficient in Adobe Photoshop. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment, communicate well with a growing team and be a self-starter. The ideal candidate is well-versed in the current health and wellness online publication landscape and has a passion for healthy living that can be communicated to the Thrive Market customer and reader and wants to join a startup that is poised to become the next big thing in healthy living.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Generating and producing stories for the Thrive blog
Project managing and overseeing production of daily blog posts
Coordinating contributor network and onboarding new and exciting content creators
Publishing with SEO in mind
Recording costs and budget items
Upholding voice and messaging in digital and social communication

QUALIFICATIONS
Formal:
Bachelor's Degree
1-2 years experience in content/e-commerce
Basic Adobe photoshop skills
Compensation includes cash and equity commensurate with experience and talent

Professional Editor Needed for Health Related Short Film $1000 (Venice)

I have recently completed filming a short documentary (~20 minutes). I have edited everything together into a 1st rough cut and would like to have a professional editor come in to do a 2nd cut. An editor with writing experience would be preferred.

The documentary profiles the life of an amazing vegan athlete.

Compensation will be $1000 and the film needs to be completed by May 12. I also hope to show the film around to various festivals upon completion so there may be a good amount of exposure for the editor if the film does well. The largest incentive (in my opinion) is the opportunity to be apart of something truly revolutionary.

Experience with a vegan diet is helpful, but not a requirement. I am editing with Premiere Pro CS6 and would prefer to keep the project on Premiere. Please contact me if interested and provide reel, resume, and whatever else you feel is relevant.

We are looking for a full time Bilingual (Mandarin/English) Managing Editor for our four quarterly print products as well as our digital identity. They will work directly along side the VP of Products, Publisher and Managing Directors to coordinate publication efforts through the editing, writing and producing of all print and digital materials. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees and coordinates the publication process including communicating with editors, authors and indexers;

Trafficking and inspecting proofs for accuracy;

Manages and supervises subordinate staff;

Serves as a liaison between the department or unit and authors, printers, and/or publishers;

Assists in the preparation and management of the budget;

May prepare marketing and promotional materials for forthcoming publications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field and two years of experience in editing, journalism, or editorial research OR six years of progressively responsible experience in editing, journalism or editorial research.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Flawless understanding of Both Mandarin and English Language;

Extensive knowledge of various press styles;
