Office Manager for Legal Environment -- 30 Hours per Week (Beverly Hills)
energetic, organized individual to run our front office. The position is part time, Monday,
9am-4pm
Job duties include the following:
? Promptly and courteously answer phones and direct calls as appropriate
? Greet visiting clients and guests, direct them to conference room, offer water/
coffee
? Maintain the schedule of the conference room
? Maintain office equipment and kitchen area
? Support legal team with various administrative functions
? Occasional errands such as office supplies or delivering filings
The ideal candidate will have experience in a professional front office
environment, excellent communication skills, be organized, and enjoy assisting
people and resolving problems. Must be highly "customer service" focused and
enjoy working with a wide variety of people - this position interacts regularly with
lawyers and clients and sometimes high stress situations. But it is overall a quiet,
relaxed environment. Must have reliable transportation and be able to maintain
excellent attendance. Must also have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft
Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook), email and internet.

Health, Environment, and Safety Specialist (Torrance, CA)
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading efforts to improve HES performance by eliminating injuries, exposures, spills, and emissions.
- Compile and prepare all HES reports for Arkema and regulatory agencies.
- Participate in and provide data for HES audits.
- Serve as the environmental focal point for waste characterizations, waste disposal, LDAR, fugitive emissions, RCRA, etc.
- Hazardous and non-hazardous waste coordination and shipments.
- Consults with HE&S expertise group to obtain clear interpretations of site-specific regulatory process, regulations, laws and associated procedures.
- Utilizes the MOC and Implementation Work Process to effectively deliver the regulatory guidance, required documentation, and training to the appropriate groups.
- Recognizes and analyzes HE&S risks present in the work environment and assists the Team in the development of programs, procedures and /or work processes to mitigate those risks.
- Ensures compliance with HE&S requirements and effective implementation of the various global HE&S management systems, work processes, and data management systems.
- Serve as Arkema Integrated Management Systems Leader and sub-element owner.
- Serve as Site Security Officer.
- Serve as the department's Compliance Task Tool & Event Driven Tasks Coordinator.
- Participates in missed compliance tasks investigations and the development of corrective actions.
- Interaction with government agencies and ensure permits and license are up to date. Reporting for environmental, fire, chemicals, emissions, waste water.
- Monthly safety reporting on Impact and Sustainability Reports.
- Maintain all safety, environmental records.
- Serve as TrainingMine Learning Management System Administrator.
- Schedule and perform safety training.
- Serve as plant Storm Water Pollution Prevention program leader and participate on Site Team.
- Participate in incident investigations and corrective action processes.
- Sustain and continually improve Behavior Based Safety program.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Bachelor's degree in a health, safety or environmental field preferred.
A minimum of 5 years industrial safety experience, preferably in a petro/chemical plant environment. Or, a minimum of 5 years chemical plant experience, preferably with Maintenance / Contractor experience.
Experience in manufacturing plant is required.
Knowledge of HE&S regulations, rules and processes/ best practices is required.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Strong computer skills needed (E-mail, word processing, Excel and PowerPoint experience)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Excellent interpersonal skills, including good coaching skills
Demonstration of the ability to solve problems and make decisions.
Planning and organizational talent.
