The Position: Collections Analyst

SUMMARY:
The Collections Analyst is an entry level position and plays an important role in the daily and monthly functions of the Accounts Receivable team. This individual will possess the abilities required to build strong relationships with clients, the company's sales team and participate in all aspects of the collections' cycle. - Send out monthly account statements to clients
- Run clients' Dunn & Bradstreet credit reports and assist analyzing for credit issuance. Open new client accounts in Great Plains
- Assist with the estimation of quarterly Allowance for Doubtful Accounts
- Propose and implement improvements in processes to increase effectiveness of the unit
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook. Great Plains experience a plus
- Possess investigative techniques to identify true delinquency reasons to aid in process resolution
- Strong problem solving, planning and people's skills in order to establish strong relationships with clients and personnel
